Adobe-inspired master-mark-plus-derivation-rule brand system designed at 14 — still in active use a decade later
Rather than designing a one-off logo for the first personal blog, the system was designed for the entire product portfolio that didn't yet exist. The Adobe product suite was the reference — one unmistakable master mark with colour and typographic variations per product. That structure — one source of truth, derivation rules, platform-specific outputs — is the same pattern that later produced the ott-components shared library and the cross-platform monorepo architecture. Design tokens before the term entered mainstream vocabulary.
A pure design artifact — no code repository. The master mark and derivation rules were implemented in a vector design tool and applied to each new product identity as the portfolio grew. The system's longevity across 10+ years and multiple platforms is the primary evidence of its structural soundness.
